Tune UP to Pitch
Been thinking about the age-old advice: "always tune up to pitch", because if I understand something I don't have to remember it..
To me, the tension in the string that shortens it or lengthens it a little to change pitch does not operate in an entirely smooth "frictionless" environment. The string may catch momentarily and hang up just a little, but eventually dislodge and loosen slightly.
So if you lower the pitch to tune down, the string might hang, then release and end up flat. If you tune up to pitch by tightening the string, you're pulling through any imperfections up to pitch, where you don't care if it hangs--so much the better when you're in tune already! So it won't go flat as if you had tuned down to pitch and the string happened to hang.
It wouldn't always matter, right? Depends on if the string catches a little--so it's a statistical correlation that partly depends on how good the guitar is set up and the physical smoothness of the strings. So coated Elixirs or whatever would tend to hang less than if there are exposed ridges on the strings.
Extrapolation of Excess Female Teachers
Googled it.. 74% of teachers are female.
Consider Justice vs. Mercy:
Too much justice, there remains no room for repentance; too much mercy, there is no need for repentance. "Wait till your father gets home!" tells the tale.
Too little justice will lead inevitably to increased unjust behavior.
There need to be more male teachers. What other aspect of society is "allowed" to be so gender biased? Tech companies are forced to hire more women who don't choose to be educated in the prerequisites as often by a wide margin, yet more balance is deemed desirable.
Pay for teachers has to increase to accomplish that.
It's always about priorities.. we don't value education properly.. can't just throw money at buildings and admin and support and sports--we must pay the teachers what we think the next generation is worth.
I think it is in evidence that the current proportion of female teachers cannot properly educate boys.
Why did Satan deceive Eve? To me, knowing the debate between Justice and Mercy for Man would split the angels, and he would lead opposition to God, whatever God chose.

Yes I see. What I think is that our life on Earth is about Spiritual growth--we are in God's womb, protected from His infinite Light, in time, Children of Light, developing rapidly into the eternal Spiritual beings we will be when we're finally through with the attached body and shed it when it's no longer needed.
We must bear enough good fruit to thrive in His infinite Light ( in Him is no darkness at all), else wither and burn endlessly.
Can't get lost in the moment; it's a race to see who gets the best seat in Eternity.
Few, if any, reserved seats!
No pushing!

When I hear 2+2 I can't help but think 4, but most I meet react, "Eew! Math!"
The One thing it's okay to be proud of to be bad at: math. People brag, "Oh, I'm bad at math! I don't understand it a all! Aren't I cute?!"
The words mean the same as "I can't think logically." "I am proudly irrational!"
Wait.. is that already a slogan?.,.
And they (falsely!) believe: Opinion = Reason = Evidence.
Careful, it'll be a bumper sticker..!

The Transcendental is Rational to the LIT.

And yesterday I realized that physicists are ignoring the effects of gravity within atoms. Electrons, protons, and neutrons all have mass and therefore attract in an inverse square relationship.
They are Small! Light! And exceedingly close together!
How far is a neutron from a proton in the nucleus? Inverse approaching 0 approaches infinity!
The electrons will fall toward the nucleus, but things are so small, they will always miss!
They accelerate toward the center of mass, then decelerate until run out of energy, based on the energy of the electron, which differences change the extent of the oscillation--farther away will accumulate more energy from falling towards the nucleus, and run out of energy farther away. Like a pendulum you lift at one extreme and let go will swing father.
The "orbitals" and cloud and position of electrons is observed due to this frictionless Gravitational--not EM--oscillation.
The math should be possible to calculate, given known initial conditions.
And, the graph of the energy of an oscillation is a sine wave! Just like we see in an oscilloscope..

We are made in the image of God. God is Spirit. God is Light. Spirit is Light. Our image is Our spirit, which is made of Light, information stored as vibrations in connected Rings-of-light and cannot interact with electrons (anything not light is dark) after separation. and can't be destroyed any more than any light or electron.. Elementary things only change form, per physics--they are neither created nor destroyed. Spirit is an elementary thing, of Light. In physics, light is called "The Carrier of Information." What else is a Word, but a carrier of information?
In the Beginning: 1) God said (a Word) "Let there be Light", and 2) was The Word, and The Word was with God, and The Word Was God."
Rings of vibration information are associated with awareness.. Sensory inputs, thoughts, feelings, dreams, emotions, imaginations...
These rings interact and vibrations blend and propagate. Hierarchies form. Integration occurs as sets of awareness coalesce into "higher level" awareness.. e.g. Sight, as opposed to pixels of color. Attention shifts among next level awarenesses. Priorities are Louder vibrations (higher amplitudes), and propagate up and potentially along multiple pathways.
This was not realized in a day or week or year.

I'm afraid the principle seems to be that women are primarily selfish, caring almost exclusively for themselves and their children--an extension of themselves--it fading away quickly from immediate family.
Many men often tend towards self sacrifice, even for their considered greater good; think cops, firefighters, military, ...
Ever notice how any woman who demonstrates the proficiency of an average man is revered, while women consider the average man with disdain?
Or, ever notice how no man may use a woman's physical weaknesses against her, but women delight in taking advantage of a man's biological sexual weakness--it's like their goal and life's work, including hours a week in the mirror with makeup and hair?
Hmm. Now I've arrived at Shallow.
Women's primary priorities appear to be Selfish and Shallow. Just observe their choices, manifesting in their behavior. One could argue that the shallow is to achieve a mate who offers more, and therefore merely an extension of selfish.
But do men really care if their colors coordinate or their jewelry (exists or) sparkles?
Nah. They're shallow.

Scientific Methodology cannot lead to understanding.
Science is about accuracy of prediction. Theory, then prediction, then experiment and observation. Wrong? Refine, try again, compare.
Successive refinement leads to more accurate predictions. Predictions are about the future. Causes lurk in the past!
Understand Now, then you're done. All predictions will be valid. Wrong? Fix it. Change what you believe -- it's wrong!
Adding new good math to bad math never helps! One error, everything that follows is wrong. Drop a sign in step 2, the next 10 pages are perfect..

Finished reading the article. It's not difficult to me. The body is temporary, the spirit is eternal. If you prioritize the temporary above the eternal you are always making a mistake. It matters not at all what others prioritize; wisdom is to prioritize the eternal over anything temporary, thus the spirit over the body and the eternal over the pains or pleasures of the body.
Yeah, it's going to hurt. If you want a strong fit body you suffer the pain of exercise and the exhaustion of the workout. If you want a spirit that sparkles in the Light, that's no easier to come by.. If you stop suffering the workouts you lose your fitness. Long suffering is the rule spiritually as well..
I guess we have to settle for the joy that remains after the pain subsides for a while..
Analogy: Fat is like Evil: Easy to come by, and hard to get rid of!

‘These things says the Amen, the Faithful and True Witness, the Beginning of the creation of God: 15“I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. 16So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth."
How do we heat up the lukewarm so they are not spit out? Maybe it's us! "Fear of The Lord is the beginning of wisdom." I fear being spit out of Jesus' mouth! I fear for the others! I feel time is running short.
I don't know what to do to help! Just keep listening, I suppose.. try to follow where I am being led without resistance. "The wisdom of man is foolishness," so it's not for us to figure out; it's for us to be obedient, and for that--we have to hear."
What is Spirit? Your spirit is what considers each of your preferences and each of their importances to you, and chooses what you do. What you feel as you are judging (not merely thinking) is your spirit. These terms can be formally defined (which I have done) in an entirely self-consistent manner, useful for unambiguous analysis.
For those that believe the Bible, the eternal nature of the spirit is obvious, even to science-minded people like me. The Bible says: "God is Spirit", "God is Light", and we are made in "God's image". Since God is spirit, God's image is about spirit, not physical characteristics. "God is Light, and in Him is no darkness at all." What is dark? Anything that is not light! Like our bodies.. Ask Science!
So, by deductive logic and reasoning, God's Spirit is Light, and our spirit in God's image is also Light. Yes, the Light of men, even the Light that shines on everyone, even we "children of light". Ask a physics person or look it up, light does not exist in time. We observe light originating tens of billions of years in the past. Light does not get old and vanish. Light is eternal. That's what Science says. Thus, our spirits, made of light somehow, are eternal as well.
Genesis 1: "In the beginning... God said 'Let there be Light', and there was Light".
John 1: "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God; He was with God in the beginning."
In Science, Light is characterized as the "carrier of information" (look it up).
And what is a Word but a carrier of information?
You see, Science and The Bible agree; don't be deceived.
